At J&J Body Shop, we’re seeking an Auto Body Estimator to provide accurate repair assessments and collaborate with insurance companies to ensure seamless service for our customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles to evaluate collision damage and determine the scope of repairs required.
• Repair Estimates: Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software.
• Insurance Collaboration: Work with insurance companies to review coverage, negotiate costs, and secure approvals for repair work.
• Customer Communication: Explain repair plans, timelines, and costs to customers, ensuring they feel informed and confident in the process.
• Team Support: Collaborate with technicians, parts departments, and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:
• 2+ years experience in estimating vehicle repairs
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Mitchell Estimating or Audatex.
• Strong understanding of collision repair processes and parts pricing.
• Personal Attributes:
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
