Business Development Centre Manager

Position Summary

The BDC Manager oversees all inbound and outbound customer communication across digital and phone channels. This role leads a team of BDC Advisors, manages CRM performance, integrates modern tools and AI-driven automation, and ensures every client interaction reflects a luxury-level, customer-first experience.

This role is both strategic and hands-on — ideal for a leader energized by performance metrics, team development, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of BDC Advisors

  • Establish KPIs, daily activity standards, and clear performance expectations

  • Conduct consistent coaching and performance reviews

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality

Lead Management & Client Experience

  • Oversee all inbound web leads, digital inquiries, and phone communication

  • Drive appointment setting for both Sales and Service departments

  • Ensure rapid response times and disciplined follow-up processes

  • Monitor show rates, conversion ratios, and revenue impact

  • Deliver a seamless, premium-level customer journey

AI & Technology Integration

  • Implement AI tools to improve engagement and efficiency

  • Optimize CRM workflows, automation, and reporting systems

  • Leverage data insights to enhance lead handling performance

Outbound Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop campaigns aligned with sales and service initiatives

  • Reactivate dormant database opportunities

  • Track campaign performance and adjust strategy accordingly

CRM & Process Development

  • Maintain accurate lead tracking and data integrity

  • Build scalable systems and standard operating procedures

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Service leadership

  • Continuously refine processes to maximize results


Qualifications

  • Previous automotive BDC or sales management experience preferred

  • Experience in a luxury or premium environment is an asset

  • Strong leadership and team development skills

  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital communication tools

  • Experience utilizing AI or automation tools is an asset

  • Commitment to delivering a premium, hospitality-driven experience


Compensation & Benefits

  • $45,000 – $60,000 total compensation including Performance-based incentives.
